We stayed in the penthouse for a long-weekend this summer. The journey to the accommodation was very easy and the penthouse itself was clean and in an ideal place for wherever you want to go. The location is fantastic - beautiful views from the balconies and a 5 minute walk to the restaurants and bars. We took quad bikes out for one day which I’d definitely recommend as an easy way to see the amazing views and visit the different towns nearby. Already booked a week for next year!
Stone House
Me and my family were some of Angela and Alan's first guests to Croatia. We stayed in the Stone House, which is in the perfect location & had everything we needed for a more than comfortable stay. We ate, we drank, we relaxed, we went on adventures and did a wide range of activities. The locals were all absolutely lovely, and we can't help but feel that we've only scratched the surface in terms of what Vrboska / Hvar have to offer. Don't hesitate to recommend & we will be back!
Stone House
Our family visited the Stone House in October 2019. The accommodation was excellent, consisting of a home from home feeling lounge/open kitchen which was ideal for socialising as we have 2 children (8 and 10). it has all the mod cons including washing machine, dishwasher, cooker and microwave which gave us the option to eat in or out.
The Stone House has 2 additional floors which are very spacious with lots of storage, comfy beds, shower and toilet facilities. While chilling in the evening on the cobbled terrace the kids were quite happy to play just above our heads in their bedroom.
We hired bikes while staying in Vrboska from the local supplier. We travelled to Jelsa and Stari Grad on a daily basis. The distance was very comfortable for the children. We stopped at various beaches and bars along the way, all of which were lovely.
We did spend a lot of time in Vrboska itself. The local facilities are excellent. We regularly shopped at the local bakers, supermarket and visited the local bars. We also used the local taxi boat and took the bus to Hvar. All very affordable.
The kids regularly used the local park and the football pitch located over the bridge from the Stone House. We would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay for couples, groups of friends and also families. We loved it so much we have already booked to go again twice next year.

The kids regularly used the local park and football pitch located across the bridge from the Stone House. We would definitely recommend the Stone House to both couples and families. We've booked to go back twice in 2020 already!
The stone house was absolutely perfect in every way. It was a beautiful property, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The location was great with just a minute walk to the marina in Vrboska, or a 45 minute scenic route to Jelsa. So much to see and do. I have booked to go back to the villa again next year as I couldn’t ask for anything more beautiful or convenient. Definitely my favourite holiday yet!
Stone House
We normally go to Spain or Portugal for our summer holiday. This year we tried Vrboska, and next year we'll be going back!
WOW!!! I am well-travelled… Maldives, Caribbean, Africa, America and Europe and was so impressed with the little town of Vrboska. Complete with its own Little Venice!
We love walking. The quiet coastal walk to Jelsa was beautiful. Me and Mrs Jones for supper, fabulous views, food and service. We took the quiet route to Stari Grad past the airport and through the Stari Grad plain UNESCO World Heritage site. Blue doors serve the best coffee I have tasted.
Thank you so much to Alan and Angela. I have recommended to my family and friends. 10/10 for me.
